Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to the Neuro Melodies mobile application, website, related account functionality, in-app support flows, and communications directly connected to the service.
By using Neuro Melodies, you acknowledge that your information may be collected, used, stored, and disclosed as described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, you should not use the app.
Information You Provide Directly
When you create or manage an account, you may provide information such as your email address, account credentials, display name, primary focus or onboarding preferences, and any details you choose to include in support or problem-report messages.
If you contact Neuro Melodies for help, we may receive the contents of your message and any information you voluntarily include so we can respond, troubleshoot, and document the issue.
Information Generated Through App Use
When you use the app, Neuro Melodies may create or store records tied to your account, including session selections, personalization inputs, saved items, listening activity, listened duration, feedback, progress history, and settings changes.
The app may also use limited technical information needed to operate and support the service, such as app version, platform, internal user ID, entitlement status, and diagnostic context associated with support requests or purchase restoration.
Website Analytics
When you visit the Neuro Melodies website, we may use Google Analytics to understand site traffic, page performance, and general visitor interactions. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser information, referring pages, and usage events.
This information helps us improve the website and understand how visitors find Neuro Melodies. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
How We Use Information
Neuro Melodies uses information to provide the core service, authenticate accounts, sync your profile and progress across sessions, personalize recommendations, restore purchases, maintain subscription access, and support account security.
We also use information to troubleshoot bugs, respond to user questions, investigate suspected misuse, improve reliability, understand how product features perform, and comply with legal obligations or legitimate operational needs.
How Information May Be Shared
Neuro Melodies may share information with service providers that help us operate the app and website, such as infrastructure, authentication, database, subscription, analytics, and platform partners. For the current product architecture, this may include providers such as Supabase for account and application data, RevenueCat for subscription status, Google Analytics for website analytics, and Apple App Store or Google Play for billing and purchase management.
We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our terms, comply with applicable law, or respond to lawful requests. Neuro Melodies does not use your in-app listening history for third-party advertising.
Payments and Subscriptions
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google through the store account associated with your device. Neuro Melodies does not receive or store your full payment card number.
Neuro Melodies may receive subscription metadata needed to confirm entitlement status, renewal state, expiration timing, and restore-purchase results so Premium access can function correctly inside the app.
Retention, Deletion, and Local Storage
Neuro Melodies keeps information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account integrity, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal or operational recordkeeping requirements.
If you delete your account from within the app, Neuro Melodies will initiate deletion of your account and associated in-app records that are designed to be removed with the account, such as profile data, session history, saved sessions, preferences, and progress-related records. Some records may still be retained by platform or payment providers under their own policies, and some local cached data may remain on your device until it is overwritten, cleared, or the app is removed.
Security
Neuro Melodies uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Neuro Melodies cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your own device and account credentials.
Your Choices and Rights
Within the app, you can review or update parts of your profile, change your primary focus, sign out, request a password reset, manage certain subscription actions, and delete your account.
Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights relating to access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, or restriction of processing. Neuro Melodies may request information reasonably necessary to verify a request before taking action.
- Update your display name and profile preference from Settings.
- Use the in-app password reset flow if you signed up with email.
- Delete your account from the Danger Zone in Settings.
- Manage billing and cancellations through Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable.
Children and Age Restrictions
Neuro Melodies is not directed to children under the age of 13, and it should not be used by anyone who is below the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction unless a parent or legal guardian has authorized use where permitted by law.
If Neuro Melodies learns that personal information has been collected from a child in a manner not permitted by applicable law, we may take steps to delete that information.
International Processing and Policy Changes
Neuro Melodies and its service providers may process information in jurisdictions other than the one in which you live. By using the app, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in places where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Neuro Melodies may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, the updated version will be posted in the app and the effective date at the top of the policy will be revised.
